The Role

Mission 

Bring the specialty rental business in Japan to the next level by further developing the business into new business model, new applications and segments.

 

Your responsibilities 

  •  Map & analyze the target industry segments (potential, players, structure, trends, applications, requirements, competition, etc.)
  • Collect and interpret the industry’s present and future needs via active interaction with the target market and sales team
  • Make business development plans and identify success factors like sales training needs, required tools, new fleet investments, which are needed to grow the business in these segments
  • Play a key and driving role in the introduction of new rental products in the fleet, from specification till launch to the market
  • Put the business development plans into action and convert the potential into new customers and new orders, via active sales and key-account work in close collaboration with the sales team
  • To be the expert on these industries and provide pro-active support and training to the sales team
  • Manage and develop the important Key Account Customers and EPC companies
  • Take responsibility and coordinate for major tenders and contracts.
  • Measure, follow-up and increase market and customer shares
  • Define and implement specific marketing communication material and marketing activities, in cooperation with the marketing coordinator

Experience requirements

  • Proven record in sales (management) and/or key account management, preferably in compressed air rental, sales or aftermarket
  • Experience with air compressors and compressed air applications

 

Knowledge

  • Fluently in Japanese 
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Good user of Microsoft Office, CRM, etc.
  • Good presentation skills
  • Driver license

  • Good interpersonal skills, strong in communication and people oriented
  • Team player
  • Customer oriented: to be able to establish relations and networks with people inside and the organization, throughout the various organizational levels

Educational requirements

Technical or Commercial degree or similar via experience.
