Service Sales Engineer (m/f/d) - Benelux

Your role
• Execute the agreed strategy either through the local sales organization or via direct customer engagement.
• Prepare and maintain a rolling territory plan to maximize customer-facing time, with a target of more than 50% of time spent in direct customer contact.
• Lead and directly manage internal VTS sales support resources, including ongoing development of the role.
• Design and implement initiatives that support the delivery of sales objectives in line with the VTS EMEA South business strategy.
• Achieve defined revenue and profitability targets for the VTS business within the assigned territory.
• Provide a monthly territory report including performance updates and forward-looking plans to ensure the Leybold business community is well informed about customer status and activities.
• Maintain and regularly update all relevant Leybold systems, including C4C.
• Prepare customer visit reports and ensure timely follow-up and execution of resulting actions.
• Work closely with Customer Care, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure first-class support for the customer base.
• Manage customer payment performance in cooperation with the local sales team, customers, and the Leybold credit control team.
• Collaborate closely with sales management and the broader sales organization to ensure transparent and cooperative business management.
• Lead and coordinate engagement with relevant Leybold functions to position Leybold as the preferred and premium supplier for customers.
• In alignment with the VTS Division plan, develop and support new product and service launch plans for the customer base.
• Provide a monthly orders and sales forecast for the customer base in cooperation with the local sales team.
• Monitor and report on competitive activities within the territory.
• Support training and technical support activities together with the local sales team.

- Strong influencing and presentation skills, to be practiced at senior levels within the customer base and territory and within Leybold.
- A demonstrable track record of Service requirements, Sales success and skills, with two years experiences.
- Strong direct selling experience and negotiation skills, with the ability to guide the sales team and motivate service sales through the regional sales structure.
- Strong commercial skills and awareness.
- Ability to influence and engage others in the pursuit of business opportunities.
- Ability to create problem resolution plans and drive to conclusion.
- Strong relationship development skills.
- Excellent communications skills and ability to create appropriate communication networks.
- Capability to outline and sell the strengths of Leybold solutions.
- Appropriate language for the geography
- Extensive travelling within territory, with occasional travel beyond.
