You will be part of our technical centre team reporting to Qasim Kazmi. Your mission is to provide best in class technical support for all Technical Centre service upgrades activities.You will contribute directly to how we create high‑quality products and solutions for our customers.

Short Description

The Technical Center Apprentice is expected to learn, improve and implement the best technical solutions for vacuum devices meeting our customer requirements by exhibiting our core principles. This position requires the ability to work on simple to moderate mechanical, instrumentation & control related field service related projects in coloboration with Project Manager & Development Engineers.

Your day-to-day

- Peforming technical activities under the supervision of the senior Technical Center and Development Engineers in the Technical Center before the final delivery of the tool on site
- Ensure that all project documentation is well maintained during upgrades and follow up on any missing documentation.
- Provide technical assistance and field data collection to Development Engineers in completing their annual projects to improve performance, energy optimizations and failure predictability of abatements and vacuum pumps.
- Ensure your own safety and that of all people while working and report all safety issues as a matter of priority.
- Responsible for maintaining proper housekeeping before, during and after upgrades.
- Support the Tech Center Engineers to complete the NSTA (Non-Standard Testing Addendum) and report any non-conformances during upgrades in the Tech Center for NSTA and PSCL to the development engineer(s) and to the project manager to ensure the document is fully completed before final release.

Your skills and experience

Skills / Knowledge:

Ability to support system upgrades in vacuum devices by installing the already approved spares on the machines under the supervision of Technical Center Engineers
Active participation during the Technical Center projects meetings
Active participation during troubleshooting
Correctly read Piping & Instrumentation diagrams and symbols
Correctly read electrical schematics and schedules
Correctly read pneumatic schematics

Experience & Education

Apprenticeship program
Technical awareness, combining mechanical & electrical
