Your role

As an Aftermarket Manager, your mission is to lead the growth, performance, and profitability of the aftermarket business for engineered to order industrial compressors throughout the customer lifecycle. Through exceptional service, operational excellence, and customer-focused solutions, this role drives customer success, long-term relationships, and sustained business growth. You will report to the General Manager.

You will

  • Aftermarket Business: Lead the aftermarket business for engineered-to-order industrial compressors, including commissioning, service, technical support, parts, repairs, upgrades, and aftermarket sales. Develop and execute strategies that drive revenue growth, profitability, and long-term customer value.
  • Commissioning, Service, and Customer Support: Own the customer experience throughout the post-shipment lifecycle, ensuring successful commissioning, service delivery, and ongoing support. Partner across functions to deliver responsive technical support, service excellence, and parts availability.
  • Customer Relationships: Lead customer relationships across the installed base, driving customer satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term partnerships. Resolve escalations, warranty issues, and commercial matters to ensure positive customer outcomes.  
  • Operational Excellence, Quality, and Safety: Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements while addressing quality issues and corrective actions
  • People Leadership: Lead, develop, and coach a multidisciplinary team, fostering high performance, engagement, and accountability. Build organizational capability through employee development, succession planning, and continuous learning.
  • Strategic and Divisional Support: Provide strategic leadership as a member of the leadership team, helping shape the vision, direction, and success of the business. Build strong partnerships across the global and cross-functional teams to drive growth, manage risk, and deliver operational excellence.

To succeed, you will need

You have at least 10 years of experience working in aftermarket, service field operations, or customer support in a rotating equipment environment, and at least 5 years of experience in a progressive leadership and people management role. 

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, business, operations management, or related field. 
  • Demonstrated success growing aftermarket business through parts, service, upgrades, repairs, and service agreements. 
  • Experience managing customer claims, warranty matters, and commercial negotiations.
  • Experience working within complex customer-focused manufacturing environments. 
  • Ability to travel 25-50%, including both international and domestic to support customer sites, commissioning, service activities, and relationship management.

    • Base salary ranges from $158,770 to $186,450 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Job location

Hybrid
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our manufacturing facility in Voorheesville, United States (US). While this position offers hybrid work flexibility, successful performance requires regular onsite engagement.
