Logistics Team Leader

Your role
As a Logistics Team Leader, your mission is to ensure all inbound and outbound shipments move accurately, compliantly, and cost‑effectively while leading a high‑performing logistics team. You will report to the Package Operations Manager.
You will
- Lead, train, and supervise the logistics team to ensure strong performance, safe work practices, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Oversee all inbound and outbound shipment activities (Prime and Aftermarket), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to customer and country‑specific requirements.
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate shipping documentation—including SAP and export paperwork—ensuring compliance with export regulations, restricted‑party screening, and CTPAT standards.
- Select and evaluate carriers, review and approve freight invoices, and resolve discrepancies, freight claims, and service issues.
- Drive continuous improvement in logistics processes using LEAN principles while maintaining shipping records for audits, reporting, and performance tracking.

You have at least 5 years of experience in logistics and customs traffic management.
- Prior supervisory or team‑leadership experience in a logistics or warehouse environment.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, export compliance, and CTPAT standards.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP and strong capability in preparing logistics and export documentation.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
