Mechanical Systems Engineer

Your role
As a Mechanical Systems Engineer, your mission is to manage the technical execution of assigned projects—ensuring designs, components, and documentation meet customer requirements and engineering standards. You will report to the Systems Engineering Manager.
You will
- Manage technical project content by reviewing drawings, bills of materials, and ensuring alignment with customer specifications and internal standards
- Specify and design compressor and auxiliary system components, including creating purchase specifications and evaluating new components
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with project teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver accurate documentation and meet project timelines
- Review and provide feedback on vendor drawings and documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Support project execution by monitoring schedules and costs, contributing design concepts, and ensuring projects are validated before release to manufacturing

You have a BS Degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited college or university (or equivalent experience)
- Strong ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings (non‑negotiable)
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across teams (non‑negotiable)
- Experience in industrial systems, rotating equipment, or similar engineering environments (preferred)

Job location
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our manufacturing site and office building in Voorheesville, United States (US).
