Material Handling Team Leader
Your role
As a leader in the manufacturing of engineered to order industrial compressors, we rely on precision, coordination, and efficiency at every stage of our operation. The Material Handling Team Leader plays a pivotol role in guiding the dedicated warehouse team to ensure the safe, accurate, and timely movement of materials. From receiving to shipping, this role drives operational excellence through LEAN principles and cross-functional collaboration, directly supporting our production goals and customer delivery commitments. Join us in powering custom engineered solutions with your logistics leadership. You will report to the Package Operations Manager.
You will
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead daily warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate material flow, maximize employee utilization through proactive work assignment and cross-training, monitor team performance and provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities, and champion a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Operational Excellence: Analyze inventory and workflow data to identify and implement process improvements, collaborate with planning, production, and quality teams to align material handling with production schedules, maintain accurate records of material movement and inventory transactions (including scheduled cycle counts), and ensure proper preservation of stored materials and manage offsite storage.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards, and support audits and generate reports related to warehouse operations

- You have experience leading and developing high-performing teams in a warehouse or logistics environment and experience with LEAN principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- You are proficient in warehouse management systems or ERP systems.
- You have strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
- You have a safety mindset with knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- You can manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing production needs.
