Your role

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, your mission is to serve as a subject matter expert in ISO-related compliance by ensuring quality requirements are clearly defined, documented, and communicated across Comptec. Lead the creation and review of quality policies, drive effective corrective and preventive actions, and partner with all functions to strengthen our systems. Through a continuous improvement mindset, I work to enhance processes, support customer expectations, and elevate overall quality performance.. You will report to the Quality Manager.

You will

  • Quality Systems & Compliance 
    • Manage the Integrated Management System (IMS) through internal audits, quality data reviews, and CAPA activities.
    • Maintain and improve QMS policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure accuracy, usability, and compliance with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001, 50001).
    • Support environmental and sustainability initiatives, including participation in the Energy and Environmental Management Team (EEMT).
  • Process & Continuous Improvement 
    • Drive corrective and preventive actions and facilitate root cause analyses to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
    • Lead and support cross‑functional process improvements to enhance compliance with internal and customer requirements.
    • Assist document owners in developing or refining procedures to improve clarity, efficiency, and alignment with QMS standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support 
    • Partner with internal departments to ensure quality requirements are clearly understood, communicated, and executed.
    • Represent the Quality Assurance function during customer inspections, audits, and project-related activities.
    • Promote a strong quality culture by engaging employees at all levels and generating enthusiasm around quality initiatives.

You have 5 years of experience, working in a quality engineering role. 

  • Experience documenting work instructions, processes, and procedures with strong attention to detail. 
  • Background working with ISO 9001 regulated environements or similar quality management systems. 
  • Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and support effective solutions. 
  • Collaborative team player who is flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working cross-functionally.

  • Comprehensive compensation and benefits
    • Salary: Base salary ranges from $92,619 to $113,461 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
    • Bonus: Annual bonus starting at 5% of the base salary. 
    • Benefits: Paid time off, medical/dental/vision, wellness programs, and 401(k) with up to 6% company match.
