Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer

Your role
As a Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer, your mission is to provide support to the controls and project teams. You will report to the Process and Controls Engineering Team Leader.
You will
- Read and describe customer specs and incorporate them into designs
- Lead technical discussions with customers and sub-vendors while providing accurate technical answers on engineering issues
- Direct panel designs to internal systems
- Understand and apply electrical industry standards (NEC, IEC, ATEX, UL, CSA, etc.) to compressor instrumentation and control systems
- Conduct design review meetings to ensure the completeness and the accureacy of the control system deliverables and ensure designs comply with relevant work instructions and/or international standards

You have at least 5 years of experience and can demonstrate:
- Ability to run projects independently
- Customer relations experience
- Understanding of NEC
- Proficiency of MS Office and AutoCAD

- Competitive pay: Base salary ranges from $120,000 to $143,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Job location
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at Atlas Copco in Voorheesville, United States (US).
