Review engineer (electrical)

Your role

Mission:
As a Electrical Reviewer, you actively review electrical design of ES WXF, you provide technical training to ES WXF and coach new engineers and serve as electrical support to ES WXF.
Tasks and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
•    Actively take part in the review work.
•    Share electrical design knowledge within design team and to other teams in ES WXF, including GECIA.
•    Provide product training within design team and to other teams in ES WXF, including GECIA.
•    Coach new engineers for product knowledge and electrical knowledge and on electrical design.
•    Serve as electrical technical guide in ES WXF.
•    Prepare Pre-engineering for ES WXF.
•    Timely solution focus on professional engineering services.
•    Design and review engineering deliverables. Initiate and follow-up corrective actions if necessary.
•    Take lead on create and develop electrical competence of engineering team.
•    Perform root cause analysis on all design errors, establish and implement appropriate next steps to prevent recurrence.
•    Take lead of lesson learnt sharing in ES WXF.
•    Maintain ES WXF design manuals.
•    Provide project commissioning support if required.
•    Take lead of feasibility study in ES WXF.

•    Develops good relationships with suppliers and communicate effectively with them to achieve the best designs that are manufacturable, safe and economical.

•    Undertake continuous training and professional development to improve their own knowledge and skillset and readily learns and adapts to new technologies.
•    Ability to present clear and concise technical detail to non-technical person.
•    Hands on experience, desire to solve problems practically as well as in theory.
•    Take lead on ES WXF training.
•    Understanding of rotating machines and inverter technology nice to have.
•    Some experience of EMC compliance and regulation is desirable.

Competence and qualification

Experience Requirements
•Excellent electrical design skills that meet regulatory and industry standards for compliance, with several years of electrical systems design for industrial systems is desirable.
•Experience in designing complex system and wiring harnesses for manufacture.
•Experienced AutoCAD Electrical or E-plan designer with the usual MS office skills.

Knowledge / Educational requirements
•Understanding of PLC Control Systems, network communication and low volt circuits.
•Electrical related knowledge of electrical BOM, drawings, control panel, motor selection and spec, transducer selection, instrumentation hardware selection…….
•Electrical related standard (e.g. GB 7251.1-2013, IEC 60034-30-1:2014, GB 30254-2013, IEC 60529-2001, etc), ex-proof standards (ATEX/IEC/NEC).
•Mandarin mother tongue and good knowledge of English both oral and writing.
