Service Mechanic

The Role

• Perform routine, preventative maintenance and repairs on Compressor Technique equipment at customer site in assigned territory as well as at ALUP’s workshop.
• Troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers, filters, condensate treatment, controllers.
• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems as needed.
• To keep product knowledge up to date.
• To commission new equipment in an effective manner.
• To effectively diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on customer equipment.
• Support local customer base, develop new customers and maximize time utilization.
• Prepare service reports with care and attention and offer solutions to problems

What we expect of you?

• Good mechanical, electrical, and electronic repair skills.
• Excellent customer service and communications skills (oral and written).
• Computer proficiency as required for communication, research, work orders and programming various controllers.
• Good knowledge of English language. Ability to read and understand technical documentation in English and participate in both on-line and life service courses.
• Valid driving license.
• Extensive travel including out-of-town and overnight travel.
• Must be able to work in industrial environments at customer's  location.
