Atlas Copco Specialty Rental is a division of Atlas Copco that serves customers in industry, construction and offshore applications around the world with rental of compressed air, power, nitrogen and steam.
Mission:
In this position, you will manage, coach and assist a motivated service team of 5 FTE for Atlas Copco Specialty Rental in Poland and Romania (incl. 4 depots) covering several countries in the region. The role of the Regional Service supervisor is to use service/product technical expertise & knowledge along with service and people management skills to efficiently manage and develop our rental service operations, working with clearly defined KPI’s. You will report to the Regional Operations Manager North and East Europe.
Regional job description and tasks:
- You actively participate in the daily service work
- Optimize maintenance of our rental fleet and accessories according to prescribed processes and SMF steps
- Organize the service business in your region to achieve customer satisfaction
- Implement modifications to the equipment within your region
- Daily planning and coordination of service jobs at the customer site in cooperation with the local service and sales teams
- Plan and follow up maintenance and repairs in the workshops, locally and regionally
- Provide technical support to technicians in your region (internal-external, domestic and foreign) and support technicians and customers remotely by phone
- Follow up on ISO procedures regarding service in your region (workplace inspections, toolbox, …)
- Follow up on work clothes and PPEs for your region
- Participate in centralized European quality & service meetings and provide input to the organization. You also hold responsibility for the implementation of technical updates etc.
- Organize regular periodic service meetings for your region
- Manage and follow up outsourced service jobs
- Enhance cooperation between countries in your region, organize support when needed
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; regular follow our internal e-learning programs, reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks
To succeed, you will need
Knowledge and skills
- We are looking for an experienced professional with proven service experience, preferably in an industrial B2B environment. A technical background is required.
- Good understanding on how to develop & optimize service operations
- Effective communication skills with the ability to listen, understand, educate and influence
- Keep up to date knowledge of products, systems and service tools, have business thinking in mind, and understand financial implications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and Polish).
- Willingness to travel within the region.
