Product Marketing Manager
Your role
As a Product Marketing Manager, your mission is to drive the success of our products and Walker Filtration brand by aligning them with customer needs and market opportunities. You will report to the Head of Commercial and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve impactful results. Serving as a key member of the commercial management Team, the Product Marketing Manager is responsible for:
- Identification of new product opportunities
- Create an innovative product development roadmap to strengthen our competitive position
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure customer needs are met in development projects
- Develop marketing strategies to support local and Walker Filtration business growth goals
- Management and continued development of the corporate brand strategy
- Identification of new target markets and applications
- Research and collation of market intelligence
- Support Walker Filtration with tools, training, and processes for sustainable growth
- Implement strategic price management in line with corporate objectives and market structure
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop and implement strategic marketing plans for Walker Filtration - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, and products
- Maintain and keep relevant the Walker Filtration brand, building awareness and equity
- Coordinate business intelligence and analytics including quantitative and qualitative competitor, sales and market analysis
- Follow the latest product and market developments and stay up-to-date on corporate competitors
- Contribute to global business development and new product strategies and initiatives
- Communicate positioning and differentiation strategy to internal team and deliver effective support tools to drive product demand with commercial tea

To succeed, you will need
Education and Experience:
- Degree in Business or Engineering or related field required
- Previous product marketing experience (at least 5 years)
- Knowledge of compressed air products would be an advantage
- Proven experience with strategic planning
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the specific requirements listed above
Skills and Abilities:
- High level of computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge in gathering, organizing, analysing, and evaluating data or information; applying research methods and data analysis techniques
- Particular attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
- Be able to exercise a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results driven decisions
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Ability to meet quotas
- Travel overnight as require
