Are you our next Site Coordinator?

Atlas Copco is seeking a qualified Site Coordinator who will be responsible for coordinating the activities of tool maintenance at the KIA facility in West Point, GA. The Site Coordinator will be responsible for setup, diagnosis and configuration of tooling, maintaining the PM and calibration schedule of the tooling population, the logistics of shipping tools in and out of the customer’s facility, and interfacing directly with the customer.

 

Here’s how you’ll make an impact:

  • We are looking for an independent self-starter with the ability to communicate with all levels of an organization both verbally and in writing.
  • Our ideal candidate will work well as part of a team in order to accomplish the task at hand.
  • Our candidate will hold knowledge of servicing industrial fastening tools, torque theory and fastening knowledge and basic electrical diagnostics. 
  • This position is located in West Point, GA and will be based at a customer’s manufacturing facility but will be required to travel 5% nationally.
  • The work hours are for 5 day work weeks. We are hiring both 2nd and 3rd shift.
    • 2nd Shift: 2pm – 10pm
    • 3rd Shift: 10pm-6am

To Succeed, You Will Need:

  • A High School diploma or GED is required
  • Preferred 2 years’ experience in a production environment working with manufacturing automation, assembly tooling or data collection systems
  • IT experience with networking or databases preferred
  • Customer interface experience is preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate and train customers on Atlas Copco equipment
  • Effectively troubleshoot and repair Atlas Copco electric tools
  • Ability to apply mechanical aptitude to service and repair pneumatic tooling, all brands
  • Understanding of tool or instrument calibration processes
  • Desire to learn new things regarding our processes and procedures daily
  • Superior customer experience and continuous learning
