Your future job

Your role

Are you passionate about technology and driven by a desire to understand how things work? In this role, you combine your technical interest with the ability to share knowledge in an engaging and interactive way. You feel energized by working with diverse groups of people and by making a tangible impact through competence development. You thrive in an environment where collaboration and sustainability are important, and where pragmatic execution is balanced with thoughtful, strategic planning. By joining our competence development team, you will work closely with colleagues across the world to develop and deliver training programs that enable our people to provide the best possible service to our customers.

This role suits someone who enjoys working autonomously and who naturally takes initiative when interacting with European customer centers. An affinity for technology, combined with strong pedagogical skills, is essential to translate technical knowledge into effective learning experiences that resonate with different audiences.

The European Service Academy Manager reports to the Global Compressed Air Service Academy Manager and works in close cooperation with Service Specialists, Technical Support, and Training functions within the European customer centers. The core mission of the role is to ensure that our people have the right competences and certifications. This is achieved by developing structured training packages, facilitating learning initiatives, and closely following up on training outcomes to ensure their effectiveness.

In this position, you are responsible for the overall management of the academy operations, including facilities, equipment, tools, and logistics. You implement the Competence Development Process across the European customer centers and actively facilitate the use of the academy by Service Specialists, Customer Centers, and other relevant stakeholders. A key part of the role involves rolling out blended learning solutions, such as videos, digital learning modules, virtual classroom sessions, and pre‑recorded virtual content, ensuring a modern and flexible learning approach.

You also design and implement the Train‑the‑Trainer program and develop structured learning content that is clearly aligned with the target audience, including defined prerequisites and certification paths. In close collaboration with Service Specialists and Customer Centers, you develop and coordinate the induction program for new employees. You support Service Specialists in creating and improving technical training materials, taking into account different learning styles and methodologies.

In addition, you continuously identify future training needs based on expressed interests, feedback, and evolving business requirements. You cooperate with other regional academy managers on joint projects and initiatives, and you define and support both standard and customized learning journeys that align individual development with organizational goals.
