Technology Developer - Beyond Air

Your role
The Beyond Air Task Force is responsible for developing and maintaining new compression technologies for gas applications. Our activities range from initiating completely new developments to upgrading existing products, as well as exploring innovations together with internal stakeholders, R&D cells, and external partners. The team manages the entire process from product strategy, design, and testing through to operations and customer delivery. To further strengthen our innovation capabilities, we are now looking for a Technology Developer.
In this expert role, you act as a key technical authority in the development of advanced gas compressor technologies, with a strong emphasis on thermodynamics, modelling, and first-principles engineering. You perform in-depth thermodynamic analyses and system-level calculations to assess performance, efficiency, and operational limits, forming the backbone of technology development and design decisions.
You develop advanced analytical and numerical models to simulate compressor behavior across a wide range of gases and operating conditions.
You validate and continuously improve these models using experimental data, ensuring strong alignment between simulation and real performance. Based on your expertise, you define critical operating scenarios and boundary conditions, applying engineering judgement to evaluate performance limits and risks.
In addition, you define and drive the technology roadmap, translating deep technical insights into clear development directions. You lead and contribute to BDC activities, providing technical direction, consolidating knowledge, and supporting key strategic decisions.
