What are we looking for?

We are looking for a passionate and committed Agile Coach to help us transforming our organization from a waterfall to an Agile company. As Agile Coach you are the facilitator and coach for the team. Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Promoting and supporting the Business Applications Domain in following best practices when to use Agile, Lean, and Waterfall
  • Leading the scrum masters
  • Educating the team in Scrum, XP and SAFe practices
  • Coaching the team in self-management
  • Helping the team focus on creating an increment of value each iteration
  • Facilitating the removal of impediments to the team’s progress
  • Ensuring that all team events take place, are productive and kept within the timebox
  • Creating the environment for continuous improvement Supporting the overall SAFe implementation
  • Overseeing the overall backlog for the Business Applications domain and as such securing a central overview
  • You will be the right hand of the Head of Business Applications

You will have the opportunity to work with a highly motivated international team in a challenging and very dynamic environment. As such you will be part of our internal project team working in the Business Applications Domain securing business demands fitting within our Atlas Copco Compressor Technique reference architecture. Next to this you will participate in an agile community reviewing and implementing best practices from other teams of the organization. You will report to the Head of Business Applications.

 

Experience

  • You have a university degree in business, engineering, economics, informatics or equal by experience
  • You possess in-depth knowledge of Agile/ Scrum methodology. You have at least 5 years of experience as a scrum master in an Agile IT development team. Being a Certified scrum master is a plus
  • You can use tools to accommodate efficient collaborations (Confluence, Jira, Teams, …)
  • You like to be challenged and are enthusiastic, proactive and passionate about the agile way of working
  • You are a servant leader with excellent people and coaching skills
  • You have good communication and interpersonal skills and maintain a good relationship with other stakeholders
  • You are a positive thinker and solution driven. As such you are not afraid of making errors and are willing to learn by doing
  • You consider the team to be more than just the sum of the members. You can inspire the team and motivate them to grow. When there is a difference of opinion, you get the team back on track.
  • You are a strong organizer e.g., in planning, coordinating, time management, risk management
  • You understand the dynamics of change management
