Your role
As a Junior Trademark Attorney, you support the business activities of Atlas Copco by contributing to the protection and strategic use of intellectual property rights within the Compressor Technique and Power Technique business areas. You will be part of the Shared Engineering Services Department of the Airtec Division, and report to the Team leader IP.
In this role, you will:
- Support the development and management of the international trademark and design portfolio in alignment with divisional IP strategies and internal policies;
- Advise internal stakeholders and proactively contribute to IP-driven solutions that support business and branding objectives;
- Conduct trademark searches, clearance analyses, and risk assessments;
- Coordinate communication with external IP offices, internal departments (such as Legal and Marketing), and other IP teams within the Atlas Copco Group;
- Monitor trademark watches and follow up on potential conflicts, oppositions, and enforcement matters;
- Assist in investigating potential infringements and contribute to defining and implementing action plans together with internal and external stakeholders;
- Track competitor activity and identify potential IP risks and opportunities;
- Deliver internal training sessions and stay informed on developments in trademark and design law;
- Contribute to a structured, high-quality and result-oriented IP service.

- Master’s degree in Law, preferably with a specialization in Intellectual Property, or a degree in Legal Practice (Rechtspraktijk), combined with relevant experience in trademarks
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in trademarks and designs, ideally in an international context
- Qualification as (or motivation to become) a European Trademark Attorney is a strong plus
- Knowledge of EU Trademarks and Designs is a must. Knowledge of copyright is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on quality and results
- Ability to translate business needs into practical IP solutions

Job location
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Atlas Copco site in Wilrijk; Antwerp, Belgium (BE).
