Fluid Dynamics & Machine Learning Expert

Your role
Looking for a challenging opportunity where you can help shape our future products through simulation? Join the CAE team, the core competence center for thermal, flow, and structural simulations, where we combine deep physics expertise with cutting‑edge machine‑learning techniques.
As an expert in fluid-dynamic and thermal simulations, you drive product optimization through advanced modeling. Beyond performing advanced simulations across diverse applications, you collaborate closely with global product development teams to identify where simulations can strengthen the design process. You define effective simulation strategies and ensure they are seamlessly integrated into the development cycle.
You also play an important role in developing the competence domain by staying up to date with the state of the art on fluid-dynamic and thermal analysis as well as emerging machine-learning techniques. You identify opportunities to enhance our models and tools, translate these into concrete development roadmaps, and contribute to their execution. In addition, you mentor junior colleagues and communicate clearly with stakeholders worldwide about the capabilities and limitations of simulations.
You report to the team lead of the CAE team and will work hybrid on our site in Wilrijk.
