Project Engineer Beyond Air - BOG Applications

Your role
The Beyond Air Task Force is responsible for developing and maintaining new compression technologies for gas applications. Developments range from starting with a blank sheet of paper to upgrading existing products, as well as exploring innovations together with internal customers, R&D cells, and external partners. The team oversees the entire process, from product strategy, design, and testing through to operations and customer delivery.
Within the framework of marine applications, we are looking for a Project Engineer who will lead design coordination, ensure compliance with marine class requirements, and strengthen our capabilities in the domain of BOG compressors.

You will lead technical reviews, ensure that design documentation is complete, and drive design decisions based on performance, reliability, and manufacturability. You will support the development of new applications by performing structural, mechanical, and performance calculations, and you will lead the implementation of marine class requirements, such as those from DNV, BV, ABS, and Lloyd’s Register, into product designs and documentation.
You will act as the primary technical contact for marine classification societies during audits, inspections, and certification processes, and ensure compliance with all relevant standards throughout the product lifecycle. In addition, you will provide day-to-day engineering support to production teams, including troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions. You will also assist in resolving field failures by analyzing data, defining containment actions, and implementing long-term solutions.
In this position, you will report to the Beyond Air Task Force Leader.
