Your role

Do you want to help ensure the highest quality in our supply chain? As a Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer within the Airtec Division, you are responsible for the quality of parts delivered by our suppliers as well as the quality of their production processes. In this role, you evaluate, control, and continuously improve suppliers’ manufacturing processes, management systems, and overall product quality performance. You play an active role in driving supplier quality performance for delivered parts and production processes, assessing and improving process capability, controls, and quality systems.

 

In addition, you support the selection and qualification of new suppliers by performing quality audits and assessments, both for new and existing suppliers, and by following up on corrective action plans. You also contribute to supplier qualification and industrialization activities when needed. You work closely with internal stakeholders such as operations, engineering, purchasing, and quality, while monitoring supplier quality KPIs and leading corrective and preventive actions together with suppliers. You are based on-site at our facility in Antwerp, collaborate with colleagues and factories across our global footprint, and report to the Team Leader SQA.

  • University or college degree in Engineering, or equivalent through experience
  • Additional training in Quality and/or Supply Management is a plus
  • Strong technical affinity and analytical mindset
  • Fluent in English and Dutch (or willing to learn Dutch); other languages are an asset
  • Proactive, dynamic, and able to work independently in a structured way
