Teamleader Airnet and Energy Conversion

In the aftermarket division engineering department, we are building a global team focused on the utility room engineering, bundling engineering activities on Airnet compressed air distribution products and the Energy Recovery application engineering for compressor rooms. We aim to help our customers centres in the engineering processes of their customers to help them reach this target.

The role
You will be leading the product engineering team on both the Airnet product range, the Energy Conversion products within the aftermarket division, and the Application Engineering competence centers – supporting customer centers and optimization hubs worldwide on engineering solutions: how to useful apply recovered energy.
The team engineers the full AirNet system, a global portfolio of an in-house developed innovative compressed air distribution system. New product developments with a global span, expanding the product offer with cost effective but innovative, reliable designs. This includes the product maintenance activities, with a strong focus on design for assembly with our fully automated assembly lines. You further develop the testlab for Airnet with the semi-automated testing and reporting facilities
The focus of Application Engineering activities is on increasing the adoption and use of retrofitted Energy Conversion products (Oilfree and Oil Injected technologies, heat to heat, heat to cold, heat pumps), taking away technical barriers to upgrade installations worldwide with our products and engineer useful applications for recovered energy. The team provides the right selection of building blocks, main components and assists in sizing calculations and drafting lay-outs during the proposal phase of a project
Your team will work very close with our customer centers, develop templates, selection and calculations tools together with marketing and co-engineer turnkey solutions for the customers’ site. You guard and grow the competence and expand the activities via our regional Optimization Hubs. You are eager to follow Energy Conversion trends in Industry and technology that might be useful to integrate in our portfolio of energy conversion technologies
Your team will also develop a new generation OIS Energy Recovery, (controlled and connected) seamlessly connecting the divisions legacy equipment at our customers’ sites. You develop with marketing a global roadmap for localizations.

You are above all passionate about moving forward technology to make customers’ operations more sustainable. You want to grow the team and shape the future of how customers centers sell our energy conversion solutions. Next to that you are a passionate about product development with great attention to detail, ready to steer the product development roadmap with a motivated team.
You have a good understanding of customer centers operations, the (aftermarket-) sales process and real life technical experience with compressor room installations.
Master in industrial Sciences with experience in compressor room lay-out, CAD software, piping diagrams. Experience or affinity with HVAC is a plus.
• Experience in leading product development projects and preferably development teams and maturity to step into the role as team leader.
• Keen interest in sustainability and energy transition related topics in technology and society
• Strong communicator to engineers, stakeholders and management
• Experience in product development processes, CAD and PLM systems.
• Experience HVAC technology, and PLC controls are welcomed
• A Commercial view, understanding the business potential of sustainability solutions
