Technology Engineer Dryer Media

Your role
Within the Compressor Technique business area, dryer media is one of the fastest-growing core product branches in the air and gas treatment portfolio. The Airtec division is heavily investing in expanding the product team and increasing both production capacity and available expertise. Our mission is to successfully launch new dryer media products and processes by enabling in-depth R&D at both material and application level, and by translating these insights into commercially viable end products and strong field support services. We focus on building long-term customer relationships based on guaranteed quality, reliable delivery and transparent communication. These pillars are essential for diversifying our roadmap and exploring new product applications.
As a dryer media technology engineer, you will develop deep expertise in dryer media products and processes, becoming a key technical reference within the team. You will drive innovation by identifying improvement opportunities and introducing new concepts into an existing manufacturing environment. You will lead research and development projects, taking ownership from the initial concept through to full implementation, and collaborate closely with experts from various fields to scale up new production processes. You will report to the Fibers Taskforce Leader and work at our production site in Wilrijk, Belgium.

- You hold a master’s or PhD degree in a technical-scientific field, preferably in materials or chemical engineering.
- You have prior experience in R&D or product development.
- You have a strong interest in chemical processes and their application in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of adsorption processes and familiarity with quality management systems are considered strong advantages.
- You are comfortable working with MS O365.
- You can communicate fluently in Dutch and English.
