The Role

The IoT connectivity team is seeking an enthusiastic and talented embedded software tester to help innovate, design, and deploy the firmware on our connected devices. As a member of our team, you will get the opportunity to work on highly innovative projects that directly impact on our way of servicing equipment worldwide.

As Software tester you will be involved in all the testing aspects of the development cycle. You will design the test infrastructure and test scenarios for multiple devices. You will define with the development team the acceptance criteria, document test procedures and tests of new functionalities. You automate what can be automated, to free up time for tests that can’t be automated.

A critical mindset is essential to analyze test reports and work with developers and data team.

Major Responsibilities

  • Design, bring up and maintain an automated testing infrastructure used for embedded devices
  • Plan and execute automated and manual testing, record the results, and raise defects of new and existing devices
  • Analyze functional requirements to identify test cases, write and document well-structured test scenarios
  • Identify where testing can be automated, write and maintain automation scripts

What we expect of you? 

Competence requirements:

  • Experience of designing a new test infrastructure
  • Experience of defining test scenarios follow up results with developers
  • Knowledge of C, phyton, Jenkins, Visual Studio is necessary
  • Effective communication skills in English, especially intercultural communication
