To fuel our expansion, we are currently seeking a dynamic Inside Sales Officer to join our Edmac team.

Responsibilities:
As an Inside Sales Officer, you will be at the forefront of our customer interactions, ensuring exceptional daily service and serving as the primary contact for customers in your region. Your duties include processing customer requests, supporting the sales team in enhancing performance, and actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our services. This role involves engaging with customers through virtual meetings, handling administrative tasks, and collaborating with colleagues to maximize customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will support in projects, using analytics to help drive continuous improvement and strategic initiatives.

These projects may include areas such as pricing strategy, customer experience enhancement, or internal workflow efficiency.

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a seamless communication channel (via phone or mail).
  • Providing day-to-day support to clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Managing the quotation process and responding to lead time requests in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Offering technical information and expertise to assist customers in making informed decisions.
  • Maintain strong customer relations and deliver excellent daily service.
  • Listen to customer needs, propose improvements, and contribute to further development.
  • Conduct customer calls for additional information and propose solutions.
  • Handle incoming calls and participate in virtual meetings via Teams.
  • Collaborate with customer service to ensure optimal customer assistance.
  • Manage administrative tasks, including updating customer data and following up on quotations.
  • In absence of colleagues, you support in the back-up of quotes.
  • Support in projects, using analytics to help drive continuous improvement and strategic initiatives.

 

Requirements:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven professional with a proactive attitude and a customer-oriented mindset. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A bachelor's degree and 2 to 5 years of experience in internal sales, business development, or customer support.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office apps (Excel, Outlook, etc.); experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
  • A strong basis of English and Dutch is a must; knowledge of another language is a big plus.
