Your role

What does a project engineer refrigerant dryers & chillers do at Atlas Copco Group in Wilrijk? As a project engineer refrigerant dryers & chillers, you are responsible for the development of new products and the maintenance of existing designs within our dryers and chillers portfolio. You ensure that products meet performance, quality, cost and timing requirements throughout the development lifecycle.

 

As a project engineer refrigerant dryers & chillers, you manage projects from concept to industrialisation using structured project management principles. You select and calculate key machine components, model and simulate system performance, and translate technical requirements into robust product designs. You closely follow prototype assembly, define validation and test programs, and support lab testing to ensure that results are correctly fed back into the design.

 

You work in close interaction with suppliers for prototype parts, follow up on orders, and coordinate technical alignment throughout the development process. When a project progresses towards serial production, you deliver the final technical package, including drawings, bills of material and technical documentation. You report to the team leader dryers & chillers and work in a hybrid setup, combining on-site collaboration in Wilrijk with remote work.

  • Master in Civil or Industrial Engineering 
  • Good working knowledge of English
  • Eager to realize and manage projects 
  • Open to trips abroad to Slovakia or Italy, when the project requires it
