Teamleader IoT Platform

Your role

Are you passionate about connectivity and eager to shape a state-of-the-art IoT platform with over 300,000 connected devices and 100,000 users worldwide? Join our multi-disciplinary IoT team as Team Leader SMARTLINK IoT Platform, where you’ll take product ownership, show initiative, and drive results together with the team that designs, develops, and manages our core IoT platform.   

As the bridge between business and product development, you connect Marketing, Operations, and other stakeholders with the software delivery team. You translate business needs into clear product roadmaps, turning them into epics and user stories that strengthen the IoT backbone supporting our web and mobile applications, as well as the underlying cloud and data infrastructure. You lead and coach a team of business analysts, developers and test engineers to deliver value sprint after sprint. Acting as the main point of contact for technical discussions, you follow up closely with stakeholders, validate results, and communicate openly about progress and challenges.   

In this role, you collaborate with skilled internal experts and external consultants to ensure our IoT platform continuously evolves and remains ahead of competition. You actively participate in technical meetings, brainstorming sessions, and strategic discussions to prepare our solution for the future. You stay up to date with emerging IoT technologies, trends, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to strengthen our platform.  

As a team leader, you are responsible for both the technical and strategic direction of the IoT platform and for building a motivated, high-performing team. You lead by example coaching, mentoring, and empowering each team member to reach their full potential. Through constructive feedback, continuous learning, and professional development, you foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and excellence where everyone feels valued and driven to deliver their best work.   

You have a strong affinity with Information Technology and Business Administration, and solid knowledge of modern cloud application development (Azure & .NET preferred) and API/interface techniques. With several years of experience managing digital products and the full software development lifecycle, you excel at planning, prioritizing, and executing. Analytical and curious by nature, you are passionate about IoT and digital transformation, and enjoy collaborating in an open, communicative environment.

• Master’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field
• Strong understanding of cloud application development, API integration, and IoT platforms
• Several years of experience across the full software development lifecycle, including planning, prioritization, and execution
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in digital transformation
• Experience in coaching or mentoring team members and fostering collaboration
• Fluency in English; knowledge of another European language is a plus
• Knowledge of Azure, .NET, or similar cloud platforms is an asset
