Your role
As a Technical Support Specialist / Expert, your mission will be to solve complex technical issues and represent the service division during the development of compressors and compressor components. You will ensure that we understand our customers' needs and provide the necessary equipment and services to support those needs


Key responsibilities

  • Offering 3rd line technical support in solving complex problems together with our teams at customer site.
  • Continuously improve the product quality by a proactive reporting follow up. This includes analyzing warranty reports, failure reports and the behavior of our connected equipment. You are the driving force in the technical committee meetings (TCM) and participate in the product quality meetings (PQM) 
  • Play an active role in product development to assure the highest level of serviceability and lowest lifecycle cost by giving a strong involvement in the project team meetings (PTM and PCM) Develop and provide technical training, troubleshooting guidelines, video instructions, … in line with our divisional strategy. 
  • Collaboration with all stakeholders (cross-departmental and cross-divisional).


You will report to the Technical Support Manager.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • A strong technical affinity is essential.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols such as Modbus, CAN, and Ethernet.
  • Experience with compressor unit controllers, frequency converters, compressed air installations, etc., is considered a strong plus.
  • Software skills: Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, etc.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is required for collaboration in multinational teams. An additional language is considered a plus.
  • Tech-savvy with a strong interest in software, electronics, and IoT.
  • Willing to travel for short trips abroad when required.
