UI/UX Designer and Developer IoT

Our connectivity journey started more than a decade ago, and today an industry-leading connected base allows us to collect relevant data about machines installed throughout the globe. This data is enriched and visualized to the end-customer but also used in key sales and operational processes.
  
 
The role
 
Are you passionate about connectivity and is your day successful when you can work on expanding the functionality of a state-of-the-art IoT platform with already more than 250.000 connected devices?  Come and join our multi-disciplinary IoT-team for which we are looking for someone who takes ownership and shows initiative, is result oriented and is committed to delivery, with prime focus on our web portal applications.
 
If you live and breathe UI/UX design and development and love an agile environment, we want to talk to you. We are looking for a visual designer with the skills needed to translate business needs into amazing user interfaces and experiences that are intuitive to use.  Ideally you also have the development skills to implement your designs and help lead other contributors to realize their designs.

You create design flows, clickable prototypes, sketches, and high-fidelity visuals based on product requirements delivered as user stories or conceptual product ideas. You help build and evolve the design system and promote our shared library of visual components and standards that define our core product’s look and feel. 
You conduct user interviews and usability testing, but also analyze data from web design optimizations and drive a continuous feedback loop between our Marketing/Sales and product development teams.

Are you excited about new technological solutions in the IoT domain? In this role you will work closely within a team of a highly skilled internal and external (consultants) people. Our IoT platform is continuously evolving to stay ahead of competition. You will take part in technical meetings, brainstorms, … to ensure our solution is prepared for the future. This also means you keep yourself up to date by following interesting literature/websites/blogs about related subjects.
 
 
Who are you?
 
You have a strong and proven background in both user-centered UI/UX design, ideally in a large-scale internet or B2B SaaS context. You possess a good knowledge of the latest techniques in React/Javascript application development. We’d love it if you have also dabbled around in UX design for mobile experiences (iOS/Android). You know the ins-and-outs of user engagement tracking (e.g. Mixpanel) to drive product decisions.

You gained experience in building quick prototypes (e.g. Figma, Invision, Sketch, …) and running customer interviews to validate your designs. This means also planning & prioritization are part of your skillset. But above all we are looking for someone with good design skills, affinity with IoT, who likes to work together in open communication and is eager to learn.
