Due to growth, we are recruiting a Service Contracts Manager to work across all Atlas Copco customer sites; developing, implementing, and driving standard process and procedures to improve operational efficiency and promoting our service potential through the provision of value-added service support in all our site-based service contracts.

 

The service contracts Manager is required to help develop our on-site presence, improve operational efficiency, ensure that we demonstrate value and work closely together with the wider team in implementing new service products. Take the lead on customer interaction related to the service delivery, offering advice and feedback according to the needs of the customer.  Defining and highlighting potential business opportunities will be an important aspect of the role and work with our service sales team to be able to deliver customer proposals for renewals and new business opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Implement all operational processes
  • Development and delivery of KPIs to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure our customers are informed of operational and value-added activities
  • Actively look for new sales opportunities and work in collaboration with our service sales team to increase contract value or quote for out of scope or additional services.
  • Play an active role during contract negotiations, extensions or other contract related discussions.
  • Control of each customers variable/spare part spend through the internal customer support team.
  • Deliver new contract start-up in line with business and customer expectations
  • Ensure we deliver best practice across all customer sites.
  • Monitor and deliver contract profitability reports.

 

Your duties will include:

 

  • Lead by example, maintaining a professional approach to the customer
  • Take the lead and ensure the highest levels of H&S at all times
  • Take the lead and ensure the highest focus on “housekeeping” and 5S best practice
  • Support and deliver monthly Toolbox meetings.
  • To take ownership of the customer’s problem and with the support of the service team, see the problem through to its conclusion.
  • To support Atlas Copco’s sales and general service sales activities by developing and maintaining key customer relationships.
  • Actively look for new business opportunities across all sites and work in collaboration with service sales team to improve service business and increase contract value
  • Contract KPI tracking: i.e. invoicing status, spare tools, site CCAR issues, variable parts spend against each tool, failure mode tracking in each station against each tool.
  • Ensure common procedures and KPI reports are used across all customer contracts
  • Support and drive new process implementation
  • Share information and best practice at all opportunities
  • Provide technical support and training to engineers supporting the contracts
