Project Manager

Your role
- Define scope and objectives: confirm demolition boundaries, new facility purpose, schedule constraints, and CAPEX targets.
- Confirm prerequisites: land/title compliance, demolition & construction permits, and EIA / HSE / energy assessment requirements.
- Initial risk management: identify hazardous waste, underground utilities, safety and compliance risks; create a risk register.
- Select qualified demolition contractors: verify licenses/qualifications and relevant industrial experience.
- Safety & environmental management: review and enforce the demolition method statement; control dust, noise, and hazardous waste disposal.
- Site interface coordination: if operations continue, implement segregation, traffic separation, and utility outage planning/approvals.
- Manage design parties: define User Requirement Specifications (URS) and drive multidisciplinary coordination.
- Design review and freeze: conduct concept and IFC (Issued-for-Construction) reviews to minimize downstream changes.
- Cost and constructability checks: ensure the design fits budget and is buildable.
- Schedule control: review the construction execution plan, manage critical path and milestones.
- Quality & safety management: drive trade/phase inspections and acceptance; strengthen oversight of high-risk works.
- Change & cost control: establish change control workflow and track forecast vs. budget continuously.
- Acceptance & compliance: organize completion acceptance and statutory inspections (fire, planning, environmental, etc.).
- Documentation handover: deliver as-builts, equipment dossiers, and warranty/guarantee documents.
- Defect rectification: close punch list items to enable smooth commissioning/start-up.
To succeed, you will need
- College diploma or above, majors in Engineering Management, Logistics Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines are preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant project management experience.
- Preferred backgrounds: machinery manufacturing, industrial equipment, logistics/warehousing, or related multinational (MNC) industries.
- Civil/structural construction exposure is required; experience in warehouse construction and/or engineering project management is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of independently leading a warehouse project of 2,000 ㎡ or above (or an equivalent-scale engineering/construction project) is a strong plus.
- Hands-on civil works experience; familiar with construction execution, able to manage on-site activities, safety standards, and project acceptance/hand-over procedures.
- Strong project orchestration, planning and control, cross-functional communication, and resource coordination capabilities.
- Structured and logical thinking with strong ownership and execution; able to drive multiple workstreams efficiently under pressure.
- Solid documentation skills, including proposal/plan development, reporting, and stakeholder presentations.
- Detail-oriented and accountable; comfortable working in an MNC environment and style.
- Professional communication, able to interface efficiently with both internal stakeholders and external partners (e.g., designers, contractors, authorities).
- PMP or other project management certifications are a plus.
