Engineering team leader CSO
CSO (Compressor Service & Optimization) division is responsible for all aftermarket business including support and service to our customers. To further strengthen engineering team in CSO Wuxi hub, we are looking for an engineering team leader,you will focus on life-cycle projects and optimization products development. You will also act as a spokesperson for the aftermarket engineering team to align with different stakeholders.
Your tasks but not limited to:
- Lead the team to deliver high-quality engineering projects, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with industry standards.
- Manage the team daily to optimize resource utilization and prioritize workloads effectively.
- Provide sound technical guidance and prompt solutions for ad-hoc issues and urgent requests, ensuring minimal impact on ongoing operations.
- Act as the lead on key development projects within the CSO engineering team, driving innovation and execution.
- Maintain strong, cooperative relationships with cross-functional teams in China and Belgium to ensure smooth international collaboration.
- Assist in creating and executing multi-year strategic planning for the CSO engineering team.
- Manage various concurrent projects within the team and provide timely progress reports to management.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Ensure the team is equipped with the proper systems, tools, and training.
Job location: Wuxi, Jiangsu
Competence & Qualifications
1.Major in Engineering; a strong technical background in mechanical or related engineering fields is required.
2. Excellent command of English, both oral and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively in an international environment.
3.Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills; ability to align cross-functional teams and drive results.
4. Solid experience in product development, with deep familiarity with CTP 2.0
5. A sound understanding of CSO business or similar industrial engineering service models.
6. Proficient in engineering tools, including PLM, ERP systems, and CAD software (such as Inventor or similar).
7. Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing technical teams, mentoring junior employees, and fostering growth.
8. Results-oriented team player, capable of working independently under pressure and resolving ad-hoc technical challenges.
9. Willingness to travel for short-term business trips as required.
