Mission

To enhance the aftermarket expansion of CT equipment manufactured by the Brand Portfolio at our Wuxi production facility in China, we are seeking a Product Manager specializing in Design for Life for Brand Portfolio. This role will be stationed in Wuxi, China.

As an integral member of the product life cycle team, you will spearhead the integration of all Design for Life specifications from both marketing and sales perspectives at the Wuxi Product Company. You will split your time between Product Company Pan Asia, CTS office in Wuxi and the Brand Portfolio Customer Centers in China.

This position offers the opportunity to join a dynamic global marketing team and reporting to the VP Marketing and Sales Brand Portfolio.

Main Responsibilities

  • Supporting the formulation and execution of the CTS division's strategic vision for enhancing aftermarket business and revenue streams.
  • Collaborating closely with the Global Product Managers in Airpower to align on the design for life strategy, ensuring consistent value propositions for customers and tailored positioning strategies where necessary.
  • Forging partnerships with Product Managers within the equipment division to integrate design for life principles into the equipment development process.
  • Assisting in crafting comprehensive marketing materials to enhance spare part knowledge, refine sales arguments, and gather competitor intelligence.
  • Conducting regular analysis of aftermarket performance metrics and customer feedback to identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Assessing the full potential of the aftermarket business, identifying gaps, and developing a strategic roadmap to address them effectively.
  • Supervising the project roadmap of Pan Asia product companies to ensure alignment with the overarching aftermarket strategy.
  • Analysing market demands to prioritize engineering efforts, emphasizing customer value.
  • Serving as the primary liaison and counterpart to the Divisional Product Managers and Business Development Managers (direct and indirect) at Airpower to facilitate alignment with the global strategy.
  • Collaborating closely with engineering and technical support within project teams to ensure compressor design favors serviceability and aligns with marketing requirements.
  • Developing comprehensive business cases and presenting them to management to advocate for the implementation of proposed CTS Parts and consumables, sensors, and connectivity solutions.
  • Leading product development projects across the entire lifecycle, from feasibility assessment to customer satisfaction.
  • Overseeing marketing intelligence activities, including competitor analysis and testing.
  • Managing professional product launches and ensuring up-to-date marketing information is accessible through various communication channels.
  • Providing active support to the pricing coordinator in adhering to CTS pricing standards and undertaking comprehensive price management.

To succeed, you will need

Experience requirements.

 

  • Sales management and/or Marketing experience in either Service or prime equipment
  • Experience of working in a multicultural environment is considered a plus.
  • Experience in managing a project team is considered a plus.

 

 

Educational requirements

 

  • The successful candidate should preferably have an engineering degree plus several years of relevant sales and marketing experience.
  • Good command of English is required. Additional languages are an advantage.
  • You have a good understanding and experience with project management.
