Your role

1. Contribute to the company’s mission of product leadership by ensuring high reliability of the custom designed products with a First Time Right approach
2. Work close with Customer Center to increase hit ratio and other department to deliver the custom design orders on time in full.                
3. Synergy with sourcing to define scope of supply or introduce new vendors during proposal phase.
4. You release solutions for custom designed products, OEM applications and options.
5. Evaluate customer requirement and make a proposal based on the order scope and available resources.
6. Make sure the proposal on quality, delivery, SHE, energy saving and cost.
7. Get closely involved with customer by fast feedback to their request and inquire
8. Periodic analysis and review on industry application development and proposal management (exp. pre-post cost analysis)
9. Work according to a lesson learned approach and believe there is always a better way.
10. Continuous improvement of Inquiry system and application.
11. Coach other application engineers to establish a competent member which excels in quick, reliable and hands-on support of existing products.
12. Good ability review self and other application engineer’s quotations grantee solution is perfect.
13. Have strong continue improvement sense good at brainstorm and carry out good ideas.
14. Strong sense of cost down, keep quotation have strong competitive power VS competitors
15. Good training skills and know very well of standard engineering new production plan, regular share to department.

To succeed, you will need

Experience requirements

1. Minimum 5-8 years product design or marketing experience in OIS compressor
2. Experience in coordinating corresponding team members in projects
3. Summarize customer request and form an appropriate proposal
4. Quick response and completed solutions
5. Experience in sharing know-how
6. Familiar with DFMEA, safety review and related legal requirements.

Knowledge/Educational requirements

1. University degree or similar through experience, major in mechanical engineering or related area.

2. Good command of English and Mandarin (both oral and written)

3. Proficient in BPCS, 2D/3D software, Vault, MS office

4. Excellent knowledge of compressor application and system solutions

5. Good knowledge of marketing and pricing is a plus
