Your role

As a NEA Regional SHEQ Manager, your mission is to establishment, implementation, documentation & maintenance of the Management System which involves development and implementation of policies, processes, procedures, and tools so that the required quality, safety, health, and environment standards are in line with all requirements and guidelines of the Specialty Rental Division. You will report to Regional General Manager North-East Asia.

You will

  • Embrace & Promote Safety

    •    You will have a key-role to promote (behavior based) safety within the NEA region since our employees are our main asset 
    •    Implement and follow up the divisional strategy into a regional strategy and action and communication plan together with NEA management team to ensure safety awareness is spread and increased throughout the region.
     
    Management System

    •    Ensure that processes needed for the NEA management system are established, implemented, and maintained. You are the Management System owner.
    •    Ensure that in our rental companies the SHEQ policies and procedures are followed as documented 
    •    Report to Management team on the performance of the Management System, SHEQ related topics. 
     
    Sustainability

    Atlas Copco group and its business area’s have signed up to science-based targets in our own operations (scope 1&2) and value chain (scope 3 – 95% is caused by emissions from product use)

    •    Implement and follow the divisional strategy into a regional strategy and action plan together with NEA management team to ensure carbon emission reductions in our own operations.
    •    Support and follow up local rental companies in reporting sustain figures (energy consumption, transport CO2, water consumption, waste, business travel CO2 and company vehicles CO2) to be compliant with the Atlas Copco group 
     
    Certification

    •    You are responsible for the triple certification (ISO9001/14001/45001) in NEA region.
    •    Perform internal audits and coordinate with external ISO audits, including the monitoring and handling of findings 
    •    Ensure local compliance to legal requirements
     
    Regional support

    •    Interact with local rental company SHEQ responsible allowing you to find and share Best Practices and Lessons Learned.
    •    Develop regional training programs, tools, and techniques to enable others to achieve safety and environmental goals.
    •    Follow up divisional safety KPI’s
    •    Follow up Atlas Copco group KPI report (SHEQ part) for the local rental companies within your region
    •    Coordinate and drive the yearly ASR-NEA Risk Management process; follow up on improvements.

Experience requirements

  • The successful candidate should have a background in SHEQ in an operational environment. Experience with certifications is a plus.
  • Bachelor or Master degree - technically oriented - or similar through experience.
  • A first experience of 5 years is ideal.
  • For this role, remuneration will be based on local conditions.
