Your Role

Mission

 Supervise, develop and mentor sourcing team to support the department goals of cost leadership, product leadership, quality and on time delivery. Actively create and foster a strong team environment to build effective cross functional relationships and processes with marketing, engineering, quality, manufacturing and accounting. 

Job description

1. Manage and guide team to achieve target, define strategy of key commodity, support dept. manager improves process and procedure
2. Stabilize supply chain to ensure the quality and output of the responsible product line
3. New supplier Introduction, market survey by using IT technology and other information channel, analyze the information and select potential supplier
4. Assess supplier qualifications in association with SQA
5. Evaluate and monitor performance of existing suppliers and take corrective action as required
6. Working with supply chain engineer on implementation of supplier optimization
7. Take necessary and appropriate action to resolve all issues be it either technical or commercial to ensure products/services are provided in a timely manner
8. Project management and DN handling Work to ensure sourcing is an integrated part, at an early stage of every project
9. Develop, track, and monitor responsible product cost by using system and sourcing tools.
10. Contract handling, negotiation, achieve win-win situation by using certain economic and legal knowledge and follow-up
11. To comply with Safety Rules, Regulations and OSHA Requirements

 
To succeed, you will need  

Experience requirements

·Self-motivated and creative problem solver.
·5+ years working experience within manufacturing environment,3+ years sourcing experience in compressor and dryer
·Strong oral and written communication skills both English and Chinese.
·Proven ability to analyze and compare material cost information from a wide range of sources, including data mining within an integrated business system
·Strong interpersonal experience in a cross functional environment
·Strong technical and analytical capabilities.
·Strong computer (Access/Excel, etc.) and negotiation skills.
