Within the Compressor Technique Service Engineering organization, we are looking for a structured and proactive Spare Parts Specialist to strengthen our growing aftermarket organization.

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that spare parts are available, correctly defined and properly released throughout the complete product lifecycle. By creating and maintaining high-quality Service BOMs, you directly contribute to customer satisfaction and service excellence.

The role – Job description

As a Spare Parts Engineer , you are the owner of the Service BOM for the projects and product ranges within your scope.

You are responsible for creating, reviewing and releasing Service BOMs based on engineering BOMs created by the Product Companies. You validate spare part selections, define alternates, add service-specific parts and kits and ensure the Service BOM accurately represents the service needs of the customer.

You closely collaborate with Technical Support to translate service strategies into practical spare part solutions. Together, you define service kits, service parts and inventory requirements needed to support the installed base.

A significant part of your role is coordinating the Spare Part Proposal process. You follow up activities with Pricing, Purchasing and Logistics to ensure parts are correctly released, priced and available within Atlas Copco's distribution centers before products reach customers.

You monitor project progress through dedicated dashboards and reporting tools and communicate status updates during project reviews, PTMs and PCMs.

Besides supporting new product developments, you also maintain existing Service BOMs by implementing engineering changes, replacements, supersessions and other product updates.

You play an important role in acquisition projects by evaluating existing spare part structures, identifying gaps between local product data and Atlas Copco standards, and translating available information into complete and accurate Service BOMs.

Working together with Product Companies and acquisition teams, you ensure that spare parts, service kits and master data are correctly integrated into the Atlas Copco ecosystem, enabling global service support and spare part availability for newly acquired product ranges.

You become the single point of contact for spare part data within your product scope and help ensure a first-time-right service experience for customers worldwide.

Who are you?

• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent through experience.
• You have an affinity with technical products and product structures.
• You have experience with BOM structures, master data or PLM/ERP systems.
• You are structured, accurate and detail-oriented.
• You enjoy collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
• You are comfortable working with data and reporting tools.
• You take ownership and have a strong customer focus.
• You are fluent in English.
