Main responsibilities:

- Lead cross functional teams in developing comprehensive project plans (scope, business case,  project cost, schedule and performance) to implement strategic transformational change activities in line with PC Mission, Vision and Strategy

- Manages overall project plan of large cross functional projects and/or programs including optimizing the plan by negotiating content based on priorities, risk, resource, budget and timeframe constraints.

- Leads team to deliver on all development milestones and checklist items

- Leads  project review meetings and checkpoint discussions and activities

- Ensures that all project resource requirements are met

- Create and maintain project risk management plan

- Tracks realized performance, adjusting to align with shifting priorities and reporting to key stakeholders

- Develops solutions to remove project roadblocks

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a with 10+ years leadership positions experience.

• Proven ability to manage multiple or highly complex programs and have a successful track record of delivery from concept  

  to commercialization

• Experience managing projects including building Business Case for Business Executives approval

• Familiarity with project management techniques  standard practices and promote best practices

• Strong Microsoft office software skills including MS Project

• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills

• Proven interpersonal and cross cultural communication skills

• Ability to drive the process of reaching compromise and consensus among project team members

• Comfortable with ambiguity and working in a cross-functional, matrix environment

• Well organized with the capacity to work on multiple projects simultaneously

• PMP certification desirable

• Six Sigma/ DFSS experience a plus 

• Ability to anticipate and resolve conflict and drive resolution

• Demonstrate high expectations and standards; set the bar high and inspire and lead others to attain these levels

• Problem solver: Is able to distill the essence of an issue to its key elements and plot a clear path forward to resolve

• Collaborative and communicative: Able to communicate with and effectively work with the management team; to leverage strengths of the culture, while instilling sense of direction, execution and aggressive drive to growth

• Highly Intelligent: A quick study, able to grasp business and technological issues and get to the opportunity or overcome the challenge

• Strong leader with managerial skills and the ability to motivate, develop and manage team members

• Team Player: Leverages the strengths of his/her team while personally supporting and enabling others to succeed

Business level of English and Japanese in verbal and writing
