Introduction: We are excited to announce the opening of a newly created position for a Key Account & Distributor Manager within our Leybold business area. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving sales revenue and enhancing customer relationships across your designated territory in Japan. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for collaborative growth and a commitment to delivering comprehensive solutions to meet customer needs.
Mission:
- To develop Key Account Customers in Japan, promote company products & solutions, and achieve sales revenue for responsible territory.
- To develop dealer business in Japan, manage dealer relationships, and achieve sales revenue for responsible territory.
Main Roles:
Key Account Management
- Identify the customer decision-making process and build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at various levels within the customer organization.
- Discover customer needs and opportunities, proposing tailored solutions that align with their objectives.
- Organize sales activities professionally through demos, seminars, and other engagements to present valuable solutions effectively.
Dealer Development
- Create and execute strategic dealer development plans that enhance business opportunities.
- Organize sales and service training programs for dealers while ensuring compliance with licensing requirements.
- Identify new sales and service dealerships to expand our market presence.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, engineering, or a related field.
- Business-level proficiency in English and native-level proficiency in Japanese.
- Over 5 years of experience in sales, product marketing, or a related field, ideally within the vacuum technology sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented approach to challenges.
- Proficiency in creating various materials using PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc., tailored to achieve specific objectives.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, enabling effective engagement with diverse audiences.
- Experience with digital marketing tools and analytics systems to drive data-informed strategies.
