External Service Sales / Sales Manager, VTS
Your role
As an External Sales / Sales Manager at VTS, your mission is to expand the service business—primarily focusing on Fixed Price and Service Plans—in Japan,actively promote company products and solutions, and drive sales revenue within your assigned territory. You will develop and oversee both direct and indirect business channels in Japan to meet revenue targets. Reporting will be made directly to the VTS BLM.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Identify the customer decision-making process and build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at various levels within the customer organization.
- Discover customer needs and opportunities, proposing tailored solutions that align with their objectives.
- Work with your team to expand the business and achieve sales targets.
- Support our growth by increasing the proportion of fixed price services and service plans.
- Always be mindful of improving customer satisfaction and make optimal proposals.
- Carry out other tasks and projects as directed by the manager.
Sales Manager (in addition to above)
- To develop aftermarket products and lead the organization, manage cost, budget and PL.

You have 3- 5 years of experience, working as sales, product marketing, or a related field, ideally within the vacuum technology sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, engineering, or a related field.
- Business-level proficiency in English and native-level proficiency in Japanese.
- Knowledge and experience of Atlas Copco Group's service plan philosophy is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented approach to challenges
- Proficiency in creating various materials using PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc., tailored to achieve specific objectives.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, enabling effective engagement with diverse audiences.
- Experience with digital marketing tools and analytics systems to drive data-informed strategies.
- Knowledge and experience of SAP is a plus.

Job location
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site in Yokohama or Osaka in Japan.
