We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Zaragoza.

As a Human Resources Professional, you will play a key role in supporting our people and our business in the Zaragoza production center. You will act as a trusted partner to managers and employees, ensuring HR processes are executed effectively and fostering a positive, engaging, and high-performing workplace

 

 

 

Human Resources Generalist

We are looking for a passionate Human Resources Generalist to join our team at the Atlas Copco factory in Zaragoza.

You will play a key role in supporting our people and business, ensuring an engaging work environment and contributing to the sustainable growth of our organization.

You will act as a trusted partner to managers and employees, supporting a broad range of HR activities — from recruitment and onboarding to talent development, employee relations, and organizational initiatives.

In this role, you will report to the Human Resources Manager. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with line managers to support recruitment, onboarding, development, and employee engagement activities.

  • Coordinate HR processes such as performance management, training & development, compensation, and internal communication.

  • Support implementation of HR policies and programs aligned with Atlas Copco Group standards and local labor regulations.

  • Promote a culture of safety, well-being, and inclusion.

  • Contribute to HR projects (e.g., talent management, workforce planning, employer branding, employee experience).

  • Provide guidance to employees on HR-related topics and ensure compliance with Spanish labor law and the metal industry collective agreement.

  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements in day-to-day employee management.

To succeed, you will need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or in a relevant Human Resources technical discipline.
  • Post graduate qualifications in business or related disciple, experience and knowledge in employee relations, labor relations, wellbeing.
  • 3–5 years of experience in HR, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Solid understanding of Spanish labor law and HR best practices.
  • Experience of HR systems, SuccessFactors preferable.
  • Desirable Experience in Multinational Companies.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in Spanish and good level of English (both written and spoken).

This role requires you to work on-site at our office in Muel, Zaragoza Spain, Spain (ES). You will be part of a dynamic team and enjoy the benefits of face-to-face collaboration.
