Your future job

The Factory of Atlas Copco Zaragoza is seeking a new Logistic Engineer

The Factory of Atlas Copco Zaragoza is seeking a new Logistic Engineer to contribute to a more sustainable and emission free future.

We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Logistics Engineer to join our team at the Product Company located in Muel, Zaragoza. Join us as a Logistics Engineer and play a key role in transforming logistics operations. This is a strategic, hands-on role with strong growth potential in a global organization. This role is equally focused on driving logistics process improvements and supporting the successful implementation of our new ERP system (GEMS – SAP S/4HANA) and its satellite programs, including the ongoing rollout of a new Warehouse Management System (WMS).
We are looking for someone who is curious, proactive, and eager to learn, who brings new ideas and suggestions to the table and is motivated to implement them. You should be passionate about improving processes and systems and comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. You will also have the opportunity to connect with colleagues from other Atlas Copco entities around the world, gaining insights into how similar logistics operations are managed globally and learning from their experiences.

Education requirements:

• University degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Operational experience in a manufacturing environment, especially in internal logistics or production.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Lean Logistics.
• Strong communication skills in Spanish and English.
• Proficient in PC tools and process improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
• SQL and/or basic coding skills are a plus.
• You are a continuous learner, eager to grow and stay updated.
• You bring new ideas and suggestions, and are motivated to implement them to improve processes and systems.
• Initiative and ownership
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Strong problem-solving mindset
• Adaptability in a changing environment

To succeed, you will need

The initial mission combines two core responsibilities: mastering current logistics operations and actively contributing to the ERP implementation.

• Learn and understand current logistics processes and systems, with a focus on inbound, internal and outbound logistics, as well as customer contact.
• Lead and participate in the ERP implementation as a key user for logistics, collaborating with other key users across departments.
• Interface with the GEMS integration team, external consultants, and peers from other Atlas Copco entities to define logistics-related requirements and ensure their proper implementation.
• Support the integration and testing of satellite programs—some already live, others to be deployed.
• Define and implement standardized procedures and best practices to improve logistics operations and ensure alignment with ERP capabilities.

• Drive logistics process improvements across inbound, internal and outbound logistics operations, as well as customer contact.
Identify, define, and implement changes to workflows, tools, and systems.
• Collaborate with blue- and white-collar colleagues across the Logistics Department and other areas of the organization.

• Support the logistics aspects of New Product Development (NPD), ensuring smooth integration of new products into operations.

• Work closely with IT development teams in Zaragoza and Antwerp to define or develop digital tools and solutions. SQL and basic coding skills are a plus.

• Act as the key user for some logistics processes in the ERP and some satellite systems.

Be the first point of contact for system-related questions, issues, and improvement suggestions.
Think and define improvements to be applied to the softwares.
Participate in CAB (Change Advisory Board) meetings with key users from other Product Companies to report bugs, propose improvements, and advocate for logistics needs.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify, define, and implement improvements in logistics processes: workflows, software tools, or systems, based on Lean Logistics processes.
• Work closely with blue- and white-collar colleagues from the Logistics Department and across the organization. Collaborate closely with the Operational Excellence team in the Departmenta and with the IT development teams in Zaragoza and Antwerp.
• Develop or define digital tools and solutions.
• Support the logistics aspects of New Product Development (NPD), ensuring smooth implementation of new products.

In return, we offer

  • Culture of trust and accountability
  • Lifelong learning and career growth
  • Innovation powered by people
  • Comprehensive compensation and benefits
  • Health and well-being

This role offers strong development potential, with opportunities to grow into broader operational or digital transformation roles within the Atlas Copco Group.

If you’re passionate about logistics, digital transformation, and continuous improvement, and want to make a real impact in a collaborative and innovative environment—we’d love to hear from you.
