The Technology & Innovation department is focused on identifying, developing, and integrating emerging technologies into the next generation of products within the Portable Power and Flow Division. Our mission is to scout, evaluate, and implement cutting-edge solutions—from energy sources to control systems and connectivity—to deliver unique, efficient, and high-performance products that create real value for our customers, dealers, and partners.

We are looking for a technology-driven, creative, and hands-on engineer with a strong background in electrical and electronic systems, software, system integration and energy technologies. The ideal candidate is passionate about innovation, thrives in dynamic environments, and is eager to challenge the status quo to shape the future of portable energy systems.

The main goal is to develop energy-efficient, intelligent, and modular systems that push the boundaries of current technology and position our products at the forefront of the industry.

Your role

The main functions for the position are:

  • Define end-to-end aspects such as technical definitions and integration specifications.
  • Scout different markets for estate-of-the-art technologies and benchmark to select the most suitable solution.
  • Perform end-to-end tests.
  • Lead and support internal and external development projects, ensuring alignment with technical and business goals.
  • Support engineering roll-out with technical instructions and user manuals.
  • Design and build prototypes and perform exhaustive test procedures to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Deliver state of the art and innovative building blocks and subsystems that provide a competitive edge.
  • Develop intellectual property and added value.

To succeed, you will need

  • Solid knowledge in power generation systems, energy and power management, and hybridization of energy sources (solar, wind, hydrogen, etc.).
  • Expertise in power electronics, control systems, embedded software, and on-board controllers.
  • Experience with batteries, energy storage systems, DC/AC converters, and smart grids.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols, IoT, and remote monitoring systems.
  • Basic Programming skills (e.g., PLC, HMI, JavaScript, Codesys, Python or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on approach to experimentation and testing.
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Knowledge in power electronics and batteries
  • Fluent in English

 

Experience requirements:

  • At least 5 years involved in development of technological projects in industrial environments.

 

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Electric or Electronic engineering or equivalent.
