Your Role:
Your role as a Field Service Engineer is vital in ensuring the seamless operation and reliability of our customers' equipment. You will leverage your technical expertise to deliver exceptional on-site and field services, including maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of critical systems.
Reporting to the Workshop Team Leader within the Customer Center Power Technique South Europe team, you will be a key contributor to customer satisfaction and operational excellence by supporting the technology that customers rely on daily.
Your day-to-day
- Perform scheduled site visits to diagnose, service, and repair a broad range of industrial equipment including compressors, generators, and pumps.
- Lead equipment installations and ensure full compliance with safety standards and internal procedures.
- Serve as the primary on-site technical contact, delivering timely service solutions and expert advice tailored to customer needs.
- Develop detailed technical and spare parts proposals that support operational continuity and customer equipment uptime.
- Coordinate equipment commissioning activities and facilitate basic user training to empower customers in utilizing their machinery effectively.
- Conduct thorough equipment inspections and communicate recommendations clearly to customers and stakeholders.
- Champion health, safety, and environmental (SHEQ) compliance, maintaining a secure work environment for yourself and others.
- Utilize the TIA application for efficient task management and documentation, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
- Travel in Spain to provide hands-on support while fostering strong customer relationships and service trust.
Your skills and experience
- To thrive in this role, you bring over 5 years of hands-on experience in maintenance and repair across diverse mechanical and electrical industrial equipment, especially compressors and generators.
- Your strong foundation in mechanical and electrical engineering, combined with advanced knowledge of portable compressors and generators, enables you to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and other common software tools supports your documentation and communication tasks.
- Fluency in Spanish and solid English skills allow you to collaborate effectively, with additional languages considered advantageous.
- Relevant certifications and technical training in electrical work will enhance your effectiveness but are not mandatory.
- A valid driver's license is essential to support the travel requirements of the position.

You will be based at our customer center in Zaragoza, Spain, operating as part of a dynamic field service team committed to delivering exceptional support to our customers. Your role will involve significant travel within the country's national territory, allowing you to engage directly with diverse client sites and strengthen relationships through effective on-site service delivery.
