Short Description

As our Workshop Team Leader in Spain, you will play a pivotal role within the Power Technique South Europe division, leading a skilled team of field technicians. Reporting directly to the Regional Service Operations Manager, you will be entrusted with ensuring that our workshop operations run smoothly and safely while upholding the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your leadership will foster technical expertise and operational excellence, ultimately driving customer satisfaction and business success. Your day-to-day

  • Lead and mentor a team of workshop technicians, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.
  • Organize and manage daily workshop operations to maximize efficiency, quality, and on-time completion of tasks.
  • Coordinate closely with the Service Planner to distribute tasks effectively and monitor team productivity.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all established procedures and safety standards within the workshop.
  • Regularly review performance data and implement continuous improvements to processes and technical execution.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and support on complex repairs and maintenance challenges.
  • Maintain and update accurate technical documentation to ensure all work meets current standards.
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers to align operations with business goals.
  • Serve as a vital liaison between workshop teams, service operations, and business units to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Your skills and experience

  • Minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing a broad spectrum of mechanical and electrical industrial equipment.
  • Proven expertise in mechanical and electrical maintenance, overhaul, and repair, particularly with compressors, generators, energy storage systems, and pumps.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and related office software suites to support operational tasks and reporting.
  • Fluency in Spanish with a strong command of English; additional language skills are advantageous.
  • Relevant certifications and technical training in electrical work or related fields will be highly valued.
  • Valid driver's license is essential for this role to facilitate movement between sites and customer locations as necessary.
