Your role

Bring your curiosity to work as our next Process Engineer. You will be part of our Manufacturing Engineering team reporting to Fernando Adé, Manufacturing & Quality Manager. In this role, your mission is to lead the industrialization of new products, ensuring efficient, lean, and safe manufacturing processes. You will contribute directly to how we create high‑quality products and solutions for our customers.

 

Short Description

The Factory of Atlas Copco Zaragoza is seeking a Process Engineer to support the industrialization of new product development. This role focuses on defining and optimizing manufacturing processes, collaborating across the supply chain, and driving continuous improvement to ensure efficient, lean, and safe operations aligned with a more sustainable and emission-free future.

Your day-to-day

  • Define and implement industrialization processes for new product development, including tools, materials, and vendors
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the supply chain to ensure smooth product introduction
  • Manage system changes related to design notifications, bill of materials, and manufacturing parameters
  • Coordinate prototype manufacturing phases, testing, and technical documentation creation
  • Lead supplier agreements and follow up on tooling, machinery, and design deliveries
  • Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing and logistics processes, optimizing costs and performance

Your skills and experience

  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing or industrialization
  • Experience in new product introduction and manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ability to manage cross-functional collaboration and supplier relationships
  • Experience working with ERP systems and managing technical data
  • Strong analytical skills for cost estimation and process optimization
  • Proficiency in English (Spanish is a plus)
