Business Controller

Your role

1) Business Performance Management
•    Lead business controlling activities including financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and follow up on business performance versus targets.
•    Conduct detailed financial forecasts based on business performance, provide on trail early warnings for all departments, and ensure timely mitigation actions.
 2) Strategic Business Partnering
•    Act as a trusted finance business partner to the GM and management team, supporting strategic and operational decision making.
•    Optimize product cost structure from a business oriented perspective to support competitiveness and profitability.
3) Financial Governance & Compliance
•    Ensure strong financial governance, internal controls, and compliance with Atlas Copco policies, Code of Conduct, “The Way We Do Things”and local regulations.
•    Serve as the main sponsor for internal audit; lead follow up and improvement actions for all audit findings.
4) Planning, Forecast 
•    Lead annual budget and rolling forecast processes for P&L, Balance Sheet and CapEx.
•    Ensure annual budget tracking, monitor on trail status, and communicate deviations with departments in a timely manner.
5) Cost, Working Capital
•    Proactively monitor and manage cost development, margins, receivables, inventory, and cash flow.
•    Drive optimization of local Prokura setup aligned with current organizational structure to improve financial authority and control.
6) Performance Review 
•    Present figures, analysis and forecasting in business reviews and company review meetings.
•    Ensure transparency, consistency, and relevance of KPIs and scorecards.
7) Process Improvement
•    Support digitalization and automation initiatives within finance and controlling, especially improving Phase 2 integration and data consistency between ERP and CRM systems, ensuring workflow alignment and accuracy.
•    Based on “The Way We Do Things”, collaborate with PC and CC to review, optimise, and redesign workflows to meet current business requirements.
8) Leadership & Collaboration
•    Lead, coach, and develop the local finance team.
•    Drive cross functional collaboration with operations, sales, and other functions.
9) Others
•    Understand and master the requirements of the three management systems.
•    Complete other tasks assigned by General Manager.

To succeed, you will need

•    Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
•     5+ years of experience in business controlling / finance , preferably in industrial or manufacturing environment
•    Solid experience in business partnering and management reporting
•    Strong knowledge of financial controlling, accounting principles, and internal controls
•    SAP / BW / BPC experience is an advantage
•    Chinese native speaker
•    Good command of English (spoken and written)
•    Strong analytical and conceptual thinking
•    Commercial mindset with ability to translate numbers into actions
•    Structured, hands on, and result oriented
•    Strong cross functional communication, collaboration and influencing skills.

Job location
