Sourcing Engineer

Your role
As a Sourcing Engineer, your mission is to [engages potential suppliers in the assigned category (Casting, Electrical cabinets, Motors, Instruments, etc.), builds relationships, and negotiates agreements to optimize the supplier base and achieve the best value for the local company]. You will report to [Supply Chain Management Department Manager].
You will
Lead supply chain optimization to ensure a world class supply chain of competitive products towards our customers at the lowest possible overall cost of delivery, lowest net working capital for the company and best performance of the product.
Supplier selection based on cost, quality, technical ability and risk.
Conduct spend analysis, market evaluation and benchmark for key commodity, execute RFQ’s and lead supplier negotiations to assure price in a best level.
Research, evaluate and develop potential domestic and international suppliers to meet PC’s needs.
Category analysis and supply chain strategy set up and implementation in alignment with local strategy.
Supplier classification and Day-to-day management of the relationship with selected vendors and maintaining of accurate supplier information (contract, tasks, price changes, compliance requirements...).
Lead annual price negotiation and further study the cost reduction opportunity and implement activities to assure continuous cost improvement.
Communicate and influence key business stakeholders and lead cross functional teams to develop and execute strategies, ensure decisions meet business needs
Influence product design to ensure optimal value at the lowest cost.
Actively support planning team to ensure the delivery to meet requirement.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business and administration or equivalent knowledge through working experience
At least 5 years of experience in Purchasing/Sourcing in industrial manufacturing company, preferred with leadership or management experience
Technical knowledge of commodities to include but not limited to, Casting, Mechanical, Motors, Pipework and Vacuum components
Result driven person, with interpersonal skills
Good computer skill, SAP knowledge is a plus, but not necessary
Good command of English language both oral & writing
