Technical Support Engineer

Your role

As a Technical Support Engineer, your mission is to [Responsible for the technical ownership and product support of liquid ring elements and systems, including standard and non-standard design, engineering change management, ERP master data maintenance, and the delivery of customized engineering solutions and technical documentation to support project execution and customer requirements.]. You will report to [ETO Support Team Leader].

You will

•    Business contribution from Engineering side: 
•    Product support of liquid ring elements/systems, which includes drawing/model creation and revision, Engineering change management, ERP master data management, support to multifunctions on technical related topics, supports on standard and non-standard design
•    Non-standard design of liquid ring element/system, which includes transferring the technical specification from customer to non-standard order execution team, doing customized design and providing key technical deliverables (drawings/model/BoM/documentation/necessary input from technical side) to project team. 
•    Technical Support: Ensure efficient and professional output on the commitment of Engineering related topics to supply chain, in-house manufacturing process and aftermarket. Implement complex analysis, verification and continuous improvement on products.
•    Teamwork: Develop positive relationships to promote collaboration among multifunctional teams. Support and guide the other departments in their technical needs. Actively support the other teams whenever this cooperation is the more effective and sustainable way to reach the company objectives.
•    Standards & Compliance: Ensure product portfolio continuously meets legislative, industrial, and corporate standards through design, safety review and certification processes. 
•    Ensures that all areas under direct control, are conducted and work in a safe and effective manner in compliance with the Company's Health and Safety policy as well as all applicable regional laws and regulations related to labor, safety and environment.

Education
•    Degree in a Mechanical Engineering or Science discipline.
Experience, competence and knowledge
•    Experience in the area of new product development and technical support. Experience in liquid ring technology and/or other small clearance rotary machines would be preferable. 
•    Experience in a number of the following areas; heat transfer and thermodynamics, rotating element bearings, lubrication systems, electric motors, gearboxes, small clearance mechanisms, vacuum technology
•    1 or multiple of the following aspects should be gratified
o    2+ years experience with rotating machinery. Technical interpretion on pump mechanism is preferable.
o    Fluent 3D model creation competence, practice on AutoDesk Inventor would be preferrable
o    experience on complex skid design or rotary machine design would be a plus
o    Knowledge on tolerance analysis and small clearance machines
•    Analytical mindset and a good communicator in an international environment. Teamplayer.
Language
•    Fluency in reading/written English, basic competence of communication with international English speakers.

•    Experience with cooperating in a decentralised organisation working with different processes and development ways.
