Join Us – Field Service Engineer (Vacuum Technique Service)
At Edwards, part of the Atlas Copco Group, we’re looking for a dedicated Field Service Engineer to join our Europe General Vacuum Customer Center, to help drive the growth of our Vacuum Technique Service program by ensuring our customers receive outstanding support every time. You will ideally be based close to Gent, Belgium or Netherlands but we're flexible on location. This position requires regular overnight stays to avoid long travel times and extensive travel across the region of Belgium and Netherlands, and some European travel, to meet service commitments and customer needs.
What You’ll Do:
- Install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot Edwards products to the highest standards.
- Travel extensively across Belgium and the Netherlands (with regular overnight stays and some European travel) to provide timely, on-site support.
- Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted technical partner.
- Lead advanced fault-finding and ensure issues are resolved within agreed timeframes.
- Promote safety, compliance, and continuous improvement in all activities.
- Mentor team members and deliver training to customers.
- Accurately document service activities and use Edwards systems to manage workflows.

- Qualified Professional: Degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Electronics discipline.
- Experienced: Minimum 2 years in a field service role, ideally customer-facing.
- Languages: English required; French and Dutch highly desirable.

Job location
Role is fully remote due to the travel requirements. Location: Belgium, Gent region ideal or Netherlands.
